PETALING JAYA: A total of 6,840 or 54.6% of the 12,528 new Covid-19 cases recorded on Saturday (July 17) were asymptomatic, says Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

       The Health Director General added that another 43.6% or 5,846 only showed light symptoms.

       He said in a tweet on Saturday that out of the total, 64 cases or 0.5% were classed as critical requiring ventilator support while another 44 cases (0.4%) required oxygen.

       Aside from this, he said that 112 cases or 0.9% showed lung inflammation.

       Kategori 2 (gejala ringan): 5,468 kes (43.6%)

       Kategori 3 (radang paru-paru): 112 kes (0.9%)

       Kategori 4 (perlu oksigen): 44 kes (0.4%)
