       A HIDDEN Hindu shrine in Langkawi has been attracting more visitors and devotees online after its existence was disclosed online, Makkal Osai reported.

       The shrine dedicated to the deity Kanni Amman is located in a jungle clearing in the area known as Kampung Kisap at the foothills of Gunung Raya on the island.

       The temple, which is known among the locals as the Sri Saptha Kanniyar temple, was reportedly built about 45 years ago.

       With temples allowed to reopen for ceremonies, devotees are once again able to conduct special poojas at the temple.

       The temple is also attracting more visitors during the current travel bubble to Langkawi.
