The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly working on their own projects, with Meghan eyeing a major new commercial venture.

It is understood Meghan is about to launch a new project inspired by actress Gwyneth Paltrow, according to the Telegraph.

But it appears this will be a solo project with a source saying: "On top of being a couple, they are both working on their own things.

"They are fully supportive of each other’s concepts and ideas, but they are different from one another. They have different meanings."

Speculation has mounted over what Harry and Meghan will do next after the publication of the Duke's memoir, Spare, and the Sussexes' Netflix docu-series.

Meghan has said she will return to Instagram, with the handle @meghan fuelling rumours of an imminent comeback as the Sussexes' royal account lies dormant since the couple stepped back as senior royals.

Harry saw the release of his five-part Netflix documentary, Heart of Invictus, on August 30. It follows a group of former military servicemen and women on their road to the sports competition which Harry set up in 2014 for injured and sick military personnel and veterans.

Meanwhile, the Duke of Sussex was recently pictured without Meghan at the MLS match between Los Angeles FC and Inter Miami.

Harry joined a star-studded group, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Selena Gomez and Gerard Butler, but Meghan was nowhere to be seen.

How much we each pay for British monarchy stunned me says Richard Fitzwilliams

       COMMENT:

A year ago this week, this country, the rest of the Commonwealth and the world were mourning the passing of one of the greatest and most dedicated sovereigns in our history, who also had an unrivalled international profile.

King Charles had the longest apprenticeship ever as Prince of Wales and the first year of his reign has shown a diligent approach which has combined continuity with some innovation.

In his address to the nation, he movingly pledged himself to follow in the Queen’s footsteps and also to change his approach, as he had been influential as an activist Prince of Wales.

The Queen, who is his soulmate, has been most supportive and has also done fine work for the charities she is attached to.

The late Queen’s endorsement of Camilla as Queen Consort on the eve of her Platinum Jubilee, proved a masterstroke.

Prince Harry tipped to receive 'text or email' from William and King Charles next week

Prince Harry has been tipped to receive a text or email from his estranged father and brother next week, as he turns 39 on September 15.

The Duke has barely any contact with King Charles or Prince William, as their relationship has deteriorated ever since Harry and his wife Meghan Markle stepped down as working royals in 2020 and moved to California.

Relations between them worsened when Harry and Meghan made a series of revelations about their time in the Firm, starting with their Oprah Winfrey interview in 2021 and most recently after Harry's explosive memoir Spare was published in January.

However, the King's former butler Grant Harrold believes that the frostiness between them could thaw if they reach out for Harry's birthday.

He told Slingo that it is the "perfect time for them to check in" but added that significant "damage has already been done".

Meghan would have been taught crucial royal lesson by Diana that may have avoided US move

Meghan Markle could have been advised by Princess Diana in how to navigate life in the Royal Family, according to a former royal staff member who worked closely with the late Princess of Wales.

Paul Burrell, who worked for several years as a royal butler, believes Diana would have "embraced" her daughter-in-law and taught her how to survive life in the royal spotlight.

The Princess was killed in a car accident in Paris in 1997, two decades before Meghan announced her engagement to Diana's youngest son Prince Harry.

In 2020 the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down from their roles as working royals and relocated to California, and their relationship with the Firm has been strained ever since.

Mr Burrell told the Mirror that Diana would have taken Meghan "under her wing and educated her" when her and Harry first started dating.

Prince Harry and Meghan warned success is 'transitory' as new Netflix documentary 'flops'

       EXCLUSIVE:

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been warned that success is "very transitory, especially in America". The warning comes as the Duke's new Netflix documentary failed to secure a place in the top 10 shows on the streaming giant.

Heart of Invictus follows several athletes as they train for last year’s Invictus Games started by Harry in 2014 for wounded or injured service members.

The show also saw Harry open up about his mental health issues while several scenes featured Meghan Markle supporting the Duke.

Harry's latest offering is part of a spate of content the Sussexes are releasing on Netflix as part of their £80million deal with the streaming giant.

The documentary sparked controversy upon its release as Harry appears to make another swipe at the Royal Family, claiming that no one helped him as his life "unraveled" after returning from active service in Afghanistan.

Prince Louis clinged to Kate but awkwardly snubbed William on his first day of school

Prince Louis appeared to give his dad Prince William the brush off after he tried to offer his youngest son some encouragement on his first day of school last year.

Last September saw Louis and his older siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte start their first term at their new school Lambrook, with William and Princess Kate coming along to see their children off.

The family relocated from their base at Kensington Palace last year to live at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, meaning George and Charlotte had to leave their then-school Thomas's in Battersea.

It was an especially big day for Louis as it was his first day at primary school, however the confident young man seemed to not need to hold William's hand as he entered Lambrook to meet his new headmaster.

Although Louis was holding Kate's hand, a clip shows him refusing his dad's hand when it is offered, with William admitting defeat after a few seconds and giving his son an affectionate stroke on the head instead.

Andrew Neil reveals the reason why he was told not to get in a car with Dodi Fayed

Television presenter and journalist Andrew Neil has revealed he was once warned against getting in a car with the late Dodi Fayed.

Neil, who worked for Mohamed Al-Fayed as a media consultant, said he encountered film producer Dodi a few times while working for the businessman, and even stole his London office when trying to launch a newspaper.

He described Dodi as "polite, even charming".

However, Neil says he was struck by one think a late colleague once said about Dodi.

Writing in the Daily Mail, Neil said press photographer Terry O'Neil told him never to get in a car with Dodi.

According to Neil, after he mentioned Dodi was a "nice chap", O'Neil replied: "Yes, he is, but never get in the back of a car with him.

"He does nothing but shout at the driver to go faster. It's scary."

How King Charles will mark one year anniversary of Queen Elizabeth's death

Queen Elizabeth II, the country's longest-reigning monarch who wore the crown for an extraordinary 70 years, passed away in her Platinum Jubilee year, on September 8 2022 while holidaying at her beloved Balmoral. She was 96.

Friday marks not only one year since her death, but also one year since King Charles ascended to the throne, making it a particularly emotional day for His Majesty.

So far the King has echoed many of his mother's traditions, including spending weeks in the late summer and early autumn at Balmoral in the Scottish Highlands.

This means the King and Queen Camilla will be at the castle where Queen Elizabeth died on the anniversary of her death, although it is not thought they will officially mark the day with a public ceremony.

Prince Harry 'hates' that the Royal Family stripped him of his military titles

Prince Harry "hates" that he was forced to give up his honorary military titles after he and Meghan Markle walked away from their royal duties, says a royal expert.

The Duke of Sussex, who served for more than a decade in the Army, held several honorary military titles that were awarded to him by his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.

But when he and Meghan stepped down as royals the honorary titles, which included Captain General of the Royal Marines, were put under review and stripped from him a year later.

Now a royal biographer has said that Harry was sorely disappointed at the decision, reports The Mirror.
