KUALA LUMPUR: Plastic parts maker HIL Industries Bhd said strong demand for automative components helped the company doubled its net profit to RM4.3mil in the second quarter ended June 30.
Revenue improved to RM25.6mil from RM21.9mil a year ago.
The company is also involved in property development.
"Based on the pent up demand from our customers, we anticipate to rebound strongly subsequent to the end of the MCO and will work tirelessly to recover the lost revenue during the periods of shut down as a result of the MCO,” president and CEO Datuk Milton Ng said in a statement today.
