KUANTAN: The state holiday for Pahang in conjunction with Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah’s birthday this year has been set for Aug 1.

       State secretary Datuk Seri Dr Sallehuddin Ishak in a statement Thursday (June 16) said the date was set with the consent of Sultan Abdullah.

       Sultan Abdullah was born on July 30, 1959, at Istana Mangga Tunggal, Pekan. - Bernama
