A 10-YEAR-OLD girl is in a critical condition after being knocked off her bike by a car.
The youngster was riding on a residential street in Stalybridge, Greater Manchester, when she was struck by a Toyota Yaris, which then fled the scene.

Police have since arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
The cyclist, who was rushed to hospital following the smash, remains in a critical condition.
She has "serious" injuries to her head and leg, North West Ambulance Service confirmed.
Emergency services raced to the scene on Hamilton Street shortly after 5pm yesterday.
Officers found the schoolgirl had collided with a car in the centre of a junction.
The road was last night cordoned off and will remain so while investigations continue.
Cops have urged anyone with dashcam footage from around the time of the collision to come forward.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "Police were called around 5pm on Wednesday 16 February to Hamilton Street, Stalybridge to a report of a collision involving a Toyota Yaris and a bicycle.
"Enquiries have since established the car and the cyclist had collided with one another in the centre of the junction of Hamilton Street and Cumberland Street.
"The car then failed to remain at the scene.
"The cyclist - a 10-year-old girl - was taken to hospital in a critical condition, where she currently remains.
"Enquiries are ongoing and a 25-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving."
