Sir Keir executed an extensive reshuffle on Monday amid concerns he was not reaching voters and ministers were not making an impact in their roles. The reshuffle blindsided Angela Rayner, Labour’s deputy leader, who was told about it an hour before she was due to deliver a speech on Tory sleaze. Ms Rayner was reportedly furious that the reshuffle had overshadowed her address to the Institute for Government. The Prime Minister is likely to poke fun at these divisions in the Commons today.
