YORKSHIRE Water bosses have scrapped an ad after it was found to show Herefordshire, Russia and Ukraine.
The 55-second social media promo was meant to push the firm’s “word of mouth” campaign to get people to share water-saving tips.

It featured shots of rolling hills and a barman pouring a pint — but a left-hand drive car seen in the footage rang alarm bells.
Viewers realised the idyllic scenery was not the Yorkshire Dales but the Malvern Hills, the pub was identified as Eskimos bar 2,700 miles away in Sochi and the car was in Ukraine.
Environmental campaigner Feargal Sharkey said: “I presume whoever signed off on this didn’t notice they used a left-hand drive car as footage in an English ad?”
The former Undertones frontman said the promo exposed the “casual indifference” water firms show towards customers.
