PETALING JAYA: Investigations into the petrol bomb attack at a KK Super Mart outlet must be conducted before any one side is faulted, says Umno Youth chief Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh (pic).

       "We strongly condemn the actions that have involved violence since day one. We urge that investigations be conducted immediately and that those responsible are given the strongest punishment be sentenced to them, regardless of where they are from.

       "And investigations must be conducted first before any parties are blamed on this incident," he said on his Facebook page on Sunday (March 31).

       The youth chief called for calm but also urged the KK Super Mart boycott to continue.

       Muhamad Akmal was responding to a news article quoting Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail saying that those who had called for the boycott should also take responsibility for the attack.

       IWD: MOVING FORWARD TOGETHER

       On Saturday (March 30) a second KK Super Mart outlet, this time in Sungai Isap, Kuatan, was attacked.

       A petrol bomb was hurled at the entrance of the shop.

       On Tuesday (March 26) a Molotov cocktail was thrown at a KK Super Mart outlet in Bidor, Perak.

       The petrol bomb hit the five-foot walkway in front of the shop, but it did not ignite.
