SEREMBAN: Two more schools in Negri Sembilan have received bomb threats, says state police chief Dep Comm Datuk Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussof

       He said the two latest cases were reported in Port Dickson and Seremban on Wednesday (Nov 23).

       "The threats were sent via email claiming that bombs had been planted in the school compound.

       "However, our bomb disposal unit and Fire and Rescue Department personnel failed to find any explosives and the threats were deemed to be hoaxes," he said in a statement on Wednesday (Nov 23).

       Earlier, a bomb threat was also sent to Sekolah Tinggi Islam As-Sofa, causing the temporary evacuation of more than 500 students and staff.

       DCP Ahmad Dzaffir said the emails were sent via two accounts.

       He said the cases were being investigated under Section 507 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation and Section 233 of the Communication and Multimedia Act for misuse of network facilities.
