(Naperville Police Department / HANDOUT)
A 22-year-man died from injuries he received Thursday when his motorcycle went off the road on Naper Boulevard and crashed, Naperville police said.
The Lisle resident was on a 2005 Honda cycle headed northbound about 6 p.m. when he drove off the east side of the road as he approached Stoney Brook Drive, a police report said.
He was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and died shortly thereafter, the report said. No one else was hurt.
The police department’s Traffic Unit shut down Naper Boulevard from Spindletree Avenue to Stoney Brook Drive for more than three hours so investigators could analyze the crash site, the report said.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the Traffic Unit at 630-305-5477.
