A MAN is fighting for his life after being stabbed at London's Oxford Circus in front of horrified shoppers last night.
The victim, believed to be middle aged, was knifed in the busy central London shopping area before brave passers-by wrestled a suspect to the floor.

Hero members of the public detained a 25-year-old man who was arrested after the shocking stabbing around 8pm.
One eyewitness saw the suspect being jumped on by a man before others pinned him down after the "horrific" stabbing.
Paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance were scrambled as Oxford Street was cordoned off by police.
The victim is in a critical condition after being rushed to hospital by ambulance.
HORROR KNIFING
A Met police spokesman said the suspect was rushed to a south London hospital for treatment to a head injury, which is not believed to be life-threatening.
Shocked passers-by described the aftermath of the stabbing with one tweeting: "A middle-aged gentleman who just got stabbed in Oxford Street looks ok.
"Hopefully he fully recovers."
Another wrote: "Omg some old man just got stabbed in Oxford street?"

A red London bus could be seen stopped as it turned onto the road near the spot where the victim was attacked.
It comes after a 16-year-old boy was reportedly stabbed to death by a killer who knocked on his front door.
The victim was the 19th teenager to be killed in London so far this year, with 17 of them stabbed to death.
Following last night's stabbing, a police spokesman said: "Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a stabbing in central London.
"Police were called shortly before 20:00hrs on Thursday, 1 July to reports of a man stabbed on Oxford Circus, close to Regent Street, W1.
"Officers, the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended.
"The victim [no further details] was taken to a central London hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
"A 25-year-old man was arrested after he was detained by members of the public at the scene.

"He has been taken to a south London hospital for treatment to a head injury, which is not believed to be life-threatening.
"A crime scene is in place and officers remain in the area."
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We treated a man at the scene for stab wounds and took him by road to a major trauma centre."
