JOHOR BARU: A 29-year-old foreign worker suffered from a broken wrist after his arm got stuck in a sticker cutting machine while at work.
Tebrau Fire and Rescue Department operations commanding officer Ramli A. Hamid said the mishap took place at a factory in Jalan Dewani 4 off Jalan Tampoi here at around 10.10am on Sunday (Sept 19).
"We arrived to find the victim’s right arm caught in the machine.
"It took us about 10 minutes to free his arm by using rescue cutter equipment to pry open the machine," he said.
He added that the injured man was handed over to the Health Department for medical treatment.
