KUALA LUMPUR: Kerjaya Prospek Bhd's subsidiary Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd has accepted a contract worth RM126.1mil from UEM Sunrise Bhd 's subsidiary Sunrise Alliance Sdn Bhd to undertake building works for a proposed residential development project in Bandar Putra Permai in Petaling, Selangor.

       It said in a statement issued on Friday that the job entails two blocks of apartment with a seven-storey podium carpark including one level of common area and facilities.

       Works are expected to commence on Dec 15, 2021, and will take 27 months.

       According to Kerjaya Prospek, the contract is expected to provide an additional revenue stream over the next three years.

       “This is our maiden contract from UEM Sunrise, a reputable property developer in Malaysia. We are extremely delighted with the trust and confidence from UEM Sunrise, which show our strong ability to replenishment the order book despite this challenging times," said Kerjaya Prospek CEO and executive director Tee Eng Tiong.

       Year-to-date, the group has secured RM649.6mil worth of contracts while its outstanding order book stands at about RM3.4bil.

       Despite the tendering process being impacted by domestic uncertainties, the group said its tender book remains healthy at RM1.5bil.
