A woman has been arrested in connection with a stabbing Saturday night in Southeast Washington, police said.
Dorothy Brown, 60, of Southeast, was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon with intent to do bodily harm without just cause.

At approximately 9:56 p.m. Saturday, D.C. police received a call regarding a stabbing that occurred on the 2200 block of Good Hope Road SE, a police spokesperson said. The spokesperson said the stabbing was the result of a verbal altercation between two women.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene at 10:03 p.m., Fire and EMS spokesman Vito Maggiolo said.
The victim was transported to the hospital where she was conscious and breathing. Her injuries were non-life-threatening, Maggiolo said.
