KUALA LUMPUR: Police are tracking down two men who carjacked a 25-year-old man at Jalan Besar Kepong here after ramming the victim's car with another vehicle.

       Sentul OCPD Asst Comm Beh Eng Lai said the incident occurred at about 11.20pm on Thursday (Nov 25).

       "Two men in a car rammed the victim's car from behind. When the victim disembarked to check (for damage), one of the suspects punched him before escaping with the victim's vehicle," he said when contacted on Friday (Nov 26).

       The victim was assisted by passers-by who sent him to Hospital Desa Park City for treatment, he added.

       "We are in the midst of tracking down the suspects. We are investigating under Section 394 of the Penal Code (for causing hurt while committing a robbery)," he added.

       ACP Beh said stern action will be taken against anyone who breaks the law.
