BRITS working at home love a crafty kip — napping on the job three times a week, a study claims.

They also browse social media an average of nine times every working day and message friends and family eight times.

Across the working week, they also watch four episodes of their favourite TV show, have four walks and read three books or magazines.

However, 45 per cent say they are more productive at home, compared to 36 per cent who think they get more done at their workplace.

A survey of 1,500 Brits to mark today’s second anniversary of lockdown found men were weariest, averaging 3.4 snoozes, while women take 2.7 naps per week.

The average worker now has a hybrid 3:2 week with two days at home, researchers found.

As a result, more than eight in ten - 82 per cent - consider their work-life balance better than it was pre-pandemic. More than three-quarters - - 76 per cent - say that not being with colleagues in person every day improves their work relationships.

Cutting out the commute was cited by 47 per cent as a big plus while 41 per cent enjoy wearing comfy clothes, with 22 per cent staying in their pyjamas.

At home, they take a 34-minute lunch break, eat three snacks a day and drink two cups of tea or coffee.

But many miss the banter from being at their workplace (37 per cent), working closely with colleagues (33 per cent) and having a good gossip face-to-face (26 per cent).
