PETALING JAYA: The Health Ministry has proposed making it compulsory for all MPs to undergo medical check-ups, says Dewan Rakyat Deputy Speaker Datuk Mohd Rashid Hasnon.

       Mohd Rashid said Speaker Tan Sri Azhar Azizan Harun received a proposal to that effect from the ministry in order to ensure the well-being of elected representatives.

       “The mechanism will be discussed in more detail and the MPs will be informed,” he said in the Dewan Rakyat on Thursday (March 24).
