KLANG: Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari's wife, Datin Seri Masdiana Muhamad and two of the couple's six children have tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday (Dec 13).

       Amirudin said he, however, had tested negative in a PCR screening.

       "However, I will continue my self-quarantine while awaiting my second PCR test results on Thursday (Dec 16)," said Amirudin in a statement on Tuesday (Dec 14), adding that he will announce the latest development after that.

       The Mentri Besar apologised for any inconvenience caused due to what had happened and sought everyone's prayers for the wellbeing of his family.

       Amirudin had been attending the Selangor Legislative Assembly meeting as well as a few other events recently.
