PETALING JAYA: A gamer's habit of playing mobile games while on the toilet was finally broken when his rear end was attacked by a python in March.

       Sabri Tazali, 28, was so traumatised by the incident that he avoided his house toilet and used the one at a nearby mosque for two weeks after the March 28 incident.

       Even worse, Sabri found out two weeks later that there were still fragments of the reptile's teeth left in the wound from when he yanked the snake off his derriere.

       “After two weeks, I checked the wound area. There were still (parts) of the snake's teeth, which probably broke because I forcibly pulled it off me.

       “To be honest I am still traumatised by the incident,” he told MStar.

       Sabri explained that he often spent about 15 minutes playing online games while doing his business – until that fateful day.

       In shock from the sudden sensation of the bite, Sabri stood up sharply and realised the snake was still holding on, so he yanked hard on it.

       The fire and rescue department captured the python in Sabri's house.

       “When I wanted to open the door I panicked and accidentally broke the door,” he added.

       Sabri said he was relieved to find it was a non-venomous snake and that none of his family members had been attacked.

       He then called the Fire and Rescue Department and went to Hospital Selayang for treatment.

       Sabri, who shared his experience on Twitter at first, said this was the first time such an incident occurred in the housing area, where his family has lived for 40 years.

       Since then, the family has changed the colour of the toilet seat from maroon to white – so that any lurking predators will stand out – and replaced the bathroom door.

       Sabri’s tweet has received over 2,000 retweets and likes since he posted it on Sunday (May 22).
