A NERVE-RACKING video shows a little girl playing with an enormous python four times her size as it coils round her.

       Incredible footage shows the giant yellow snake slithering around the schoolgirl in a family conservatory.

       The clip, which was posted on Reddit, is the latest instalment of the girl’s relationship with family pet reptile Cher - which her dad Ed Taoka has documented over a number of years on YouTube.

       The girl, who is sitting with her back against a glass window, laughs and giggles as she embraces the snake fondly.

       At one point the snake even head-butts her face and sticks her tongue out – but she remains completely relaxed.

       She even appears to pat the python as it tightens its, with a huge smile on her face.

       The Sun previously reported that this is just a normal day for the unique pet owners in Surrey.

       The snakes are the world's longest reptiles and at this size feed predominantly on rodents.

       Dad Ed, a massage therapist, said it was "second nature" for their daughter and the snake to play with one another, as she has grown up with them since she just one-years-old.

       Speaking to the Mail Online in January, he said: “The relationship between my daughter and the snakes has gotten stronger over time,' he said.

       “The first time my daughter decided she wanted to touch the snakes, she was about a year-and-a-half old.”

       “However, he admitted that snakes have varying temperaments - and that other snakes might respond to humans differently.

       “When you invite any pet or animal into your house you have to expect to be bitten – all animals can bite.

       “But I would never leave my daughter alone with any animal.'

       Ed also added that he wants to show snakes in a domestic environment so that he can change people’s perceptions on huge reptiles.

       “As soon as you say a large constrictor and a child, everyone thinks the worst – that’s what I’m trying to change,' he said.

       “As long as you don’t frighten or hurt them, they are very gentle and docile animals,' he continued.

       “They are actually nicer than most humans I’ve encountered.”

       Meanwhile, Reddit users, unfamiliar with the girl’s and snake’s quirky dynamic, have commented with their thoughts on the latest encounter.

       One said: “It (their relationship) is indeed beautiful. I wouldn't want one though.”

       “The cutest snake I ever found on internet,” another added.
