IT went from bad to worse for comedian Ebby Yus, who – just days after his house was damaged in the recent floods – was found to have fluid in his lungs.
Ebby, whose full name is Muhammad Yunus Abdul Rashid, said he went for an X-ray scan and was awaiting a diagnosis from the doctor, Kosmo! reported.
“The situation is okay now.
“Hopefully, the scan results will be ‘clean’,” said Ebby, 56.
He hoped that the public would pray for his well-being.“I am not asking for sympathy but I believe in the power of prayer – God willing, everything will be fine,” he said.
Ebby had been hospitalised several times due to a weak heart and kidney disease.
His house, which is still under construction, was swept away by the floods in Hulu Langat, Selangor.
> Singer Ezad Lazim says he is thankful to all the people who came to his aid when his house in Selangor was flooded, Harian Metro reported.
“On the first day, many people came to help, including fellow artistes and non-governmental organisations,” said Ezad, 42.
He said he viewed the disaster with an open heart as it was a test from God.
“This is the first time I have experienced a flood.
“I was shocked by what happened, but I am grateful for the blessings of support and help I’ve received,” he added.
