SINGER Haqiem Rusli revealed that he will be getting married soon, Kosmo! reported.
Haqiem, whose real name is Ridzuan Haqiem Rusli, said that the preparations were in order with only the date to be finalised.
“Yes, I have already taken the marriage course, undergone my HIV test and completed the necessary forms,” he said.
The 23-year-old said he planned to have a small ceremony for his solemnisation but it would depend on the current situation.
“I did plan for a small reception but I am unsure whether this will be allowed yet.
“Hopefully the number of Covid-19 infections will decrease soon,” he said.
Haqiem Rusli said he had also composed a new song dedicated to his future wife.
“I wrote a song for her which is titled Hitam Saksi Putih (Black Witnessing White).
“Metaphorically speaking, it depicts myself with my fair share of mistakes (black) being ‘whitened’ by my future wife,” he explained.
On May 30, the winner of the Most Popular Star award in 2020, shocked fans when he announced he was ending his bachelorhood.
