PETALING JAYA: A total of 82.5% of adult Malaysians have completed their Covid-19 vaccinations as of Friday (Sept 24), says the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV).

It added in a series of posts on its official Twitter account that this amounts to 19,311,563 people and also said that 93.6% of all adult Malaysians - or 21,903,061 people - have received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.

JKJAV also reported that a total of 273,373 Covid-19 vaccine doses were administered in the country on Friday.

Of this total, 116,881 people received the first dose of a two-dose Covid-19 vaccine, while 156,492 completed their inoculations by getting either the second dose of a two-dose vaccine or a single dose jab.
