KUALA LUMPUR: Compound notices were issued to 47 patrons following a raid on an entertainment outlet in Jalan Loke Yew on Sunday (Jan 2).

       Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Noor Dellhan Yahaya said the outlet was raided at about 12.30am.

       "A total of RM47,000 worth of compound notices were issued to 44 locals and three foreigners for violating the Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOP)," he said in a statement on Sunday.

       He said police also performed urine tests on the patrons and 39 of them tested positive for drugs.

       "Those who tested positive with drugs have been detained," he added.

       ACP Noor Dellhan advised the public not to be involved in trafficking or taking drugs.
