KUALA LUMPUR: Compound notices were issued to 51 people for violating Covid-19 standard operating procedure (SOP) following a raid at an entertainment outlet in Cheras.
Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Muhammad Idzam Jaafar said a local man and five foreign women were also detained for not having valid business licence and working without work permits during the raid at Jalan Pudu Ulu on Tuesday (March 8).
"We issued the compound notices to 51 patrons for being involved in entertainment activities, which is against the SOP.
"We also seized several items including a DJ mixer, three microphones and a sound system," he said in a statement on Wednesday (March 9).
ACP Muhammad Idzam reminded the public to adhere to Covid-19 SOP to break the chain of infections.
