PETALING JAYA: The physical distance required between congregants at all mosques and surau in the Federal Territories will be reduced to 1m from the current 1.5m, says the Federal Territories Islamic Religious Department (Jawi).

       Bernama reported that Jawi had said this would take effect from the Maghrib prayers on Thursday (Nov 4).

       Jawi also announced that fully vaccinated foreigners would now be allowed to attend congregational prayers at mosques and surau in the Federal Territories.
