KUALA LUMPUR: Taliworks Corp Bhd has secured a RM293.86mil contract from Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor).

       In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Taliworks said the contract was for the development of Sg. Rasau water treatment plant and water supply scheme (Phase 1) Package 3 in Selangor.

       “The scope of works comprises of designing and building of the proposed new Bukit Lipat Kajang booster station, reservoirs and associated works including civil, structural and building works, pumping plant mechanical works, electrical works, instrumentation, controls and automation (ICA) works and building services,” it said.

       Taliworks said the completion date for the works shall be on Dec 31, 2024, or 36.5 months from the date of the possession of the site on Dec 15, 2021.

       The contract is expected to contribute positively to Taliworks’ earnings and net assets for the duration of the contract.
