A group of corgi puppets made in the likeness of the Queen's own much-loved pets are to be paraded as part of the Platinum Jubilee Pageant.

       Coventry-based puppet-maker Imagineer made the models to display through the streets of London on June 5.

       Puppet maker Louise Jones was pictured putting the finishing touches to the puppets, each one an individual and based on past and present Royal corgis.

       Ms Jones said she hopes the monarch will recognise the similarities with her own pets.

       The models are part of 'The Queen's Favourites' parade, which also includes a recreation of Her Majesty's favourite pony.

       The parade is set to pass through Westminster and along The Mall past Buckingham Palace and will honour the Queen as the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee with 70 years of service.
