KUCHING: A three-cornered fight will take place in Satok.
The fight will be between Gabungan Parti Sarawak’s Datuk Ibrahim Baki, Datuk Nor Irwan Ahmat Nor of PKR and Parti Bumi Kenyalang’s Awang Badele Awang Ali.
The incumbent for the Satok seat was caretaker Chief Minister and GPS chairman Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, who is now contesting in Gedong.
Ibrahim is a corporate figure while Nor Irwan was an engineering lecturer before he ventured into business.
Awang Badele served as a Customs officer prior to his retirement.
In the 2016 state polls, Abang Johari won the Satok seat with a 5,045-vote majority.
