A WOMAN has been found dead in a Somerset cottage - as detectives arrest two men on suspicion of murder.
Police launched a probe after the body of the woman, described by friends as a "lovely lady", was discovered on Sunday.

She was found at her home in the shadow of the Wells' medieval cathedral.
Neighbours have spoken of their devastation after horror unfolded in peaceful South Street.
One said the victim was in her late 30s and had been living alone at the cottage after a separation.
"It's tragic that a woman has lost her life," a local resident said.
"We knew that she was separated."
They allege the woman had a visit from a man on Sunday.
'I'M DEVASTATED'
"A few hours later and she was found dead in the house," they said.
Michaela Collins, 53, said the casualty was well thought-of.
“I’m really devastated," she said.
"She was a truly lovely lady.
"She was very well-known.
"I’m just so upset.”
Police said they were called by the ambulance service just after 2.30pm on November 7.
HORROR IN QUIET STREET
"While the cause of the woman’s death is still to be formally established, detectives are currently treating it as suspicious," a spokesperson said.
"A murder enquiry has been launched.
"Formal identification is yet to take place but the woman’s immediate next of kin have been informed and are being supported.
"Our hearts go out to them.
"Two men were arrested overnight on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody."

Officers have urged anyone with information to get in touch.
"If you have any CCTV, dashcam or phone footage of South Street over the weekend which could help, or saw or heard anything suspicious in the area, please call 101 and give the reference 5221261875," the spokesperson said.
"A road closure remains in place in South Street."
