STARE at this picture for long enough and you might just spot two owls hiding in plain sight.

       The beautiful animals are true masters of disguise, blending effortlessly into the stone of this derelict Peak District cottage - but can you spot them?

       It's pretty tricky to spot the two owls as the colour of their feathers act as camouflage in the stone building in Tideswell.

       But the animals perching in the cottage weren't a match for villager Jim's keen eye.

       One of the owls can be spotted sat on the wall of the run down building.

       The other can be glimpsed sitting in the eaves of the cottage.

       From a leopard lurking in the long grass to an owl hiding from danger in a tree, there are many animals that are almost invisible to the naked eye.

       Many have evolved to camouflage themselves to hide from predators by changing colour and blending into their surroundings.
