The Metropolitan Police were called to reports of a stabbing in Adams Road in Tottenham just after 2pm on Sunday. A 16-year-old boy was found with stab injuries and was taken to hospital after being treated at the scene.
Former Tory Parliamentary candidate Ben Obese-Jecty wrote on Twitter: "Yet another tragic stabbing in Tottenham today.
"2pm on a Sunday afternoon in Lordship Rec, a busy park.
"The victim left in a critical condition.
"The lawlessness in Tottenham is fast making some areas a dangerous no-go zone. The blight on young lives is utterly heartbreaking."
