With talks set to resume over Northern Ireland, the Foreign Secretary has been warned she must now deliver a date for ending talks by DUP leader, Sir Jeffrey Donaldson. Although Sir Jeffrey did not set a clear date, he warned this month will be "absolutely crucial". If a resolution is not found over the Northern Ireland protocol, the DUP leader said he may be forced to withdraw ministers from political institutions.
He told The Daily Telegraph: "If we don't get rapid and decisive progress in these negotiations and one side or the other is kicking the can down the road, this will have major implications for the stability of the political institutions in Northern Ireland."
