The group were stranded inside the store as around 12 inches of snow fell, trapping the customers and workers.
Choosing not to attempt to trek through the wintry weather, the customers had the rare opportunity to really try out their potential new bedroom sets.
The impromptu sleepover saw each guest choose which of the Ikea's products and mattresses they liked.
Store manager Peter Elmrose told Denmark's Ekstra Bladet newspaper said: "We slept in the furniture exhibitions and our showroom on the first floor, where we have beds, mattresses and sofa beds."
Workers from the toy shop next door were also stuck and joined in on the fun as well.
The toy shop manager Michelle Barrett said: "It's much better than sleeping in one's car. It has been nice and warm and we are just happy that they would let us in."
"We just laughed at the situation, because we will probably not experience it again."
Pictures show the group of stranded customers enjoying themselves in different furniture displays.
