PETALING JAYA: Senior Asst Comm Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal will be back on the field after serving as the Aide-de-Camp (ADC) for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
The well-known policeman, famous for his good rapport with the public, last held the post of Selangor CID chief before he was appointed ADC in December last year.
When contacted, SAC Nik Ezanee confirmed the matter.
"Yes, it is true.
"I belong out there, making things right, adding value, helping the needy, keeping people safe and building their confidence," he said, referring to recent reports stating the Prime Minister had given his blessings for him to do so.
News portal The Vibes previously quoted SAC Nik Ezanee as saying that he had filed for a transfer request and was awaiting news on his next posting.
He added that the experience as an ADC was an eye-opener, but he felt that he was better suited to be with his fellow policemen on the ground.
“They need leadership, and I want to be with them,” he said.
