KUALA LUMPUR: The alleged leader of the Perjalanan Mimpi Yang Terakhir (PMYT) group, which is associated with the spread of deviant teachings, has been granted police bail.

When contacted, Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Anuar Omar confirmed that she had been granted bail following the end of her remand.

       "Yes, correct," he said.

ACP Anuar added police were currently waiting to obtain reports from both the Islamic Development Department of Malaysia (Jakim) and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).

On Sept 4 the suspect, known as Sittah Annuar, was arrested following investigations into the group.

Investigations showed that the woman claimed that she could communicate with God and the Prophet Muhammad, stating that she had been granted a dream to be used as a guide to others.

A video posted on YouTube and Facebook also allegedly spoke of a third World War that would start in Sabah.
