KUALA LUMPUR: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leading global information technology service provider, is expanding its partnership with Celcom Axiata Bhd (Celcom) for large-scale transformation of core business support systems using TCS platforms hosted on Microsoft Azure.
Celcom will adopt and integrate TCS microservices-enabled modular digital business support systems core based on cutting-edge of the fourth industrial revolution (IR4.0) technologies, including artificial intelligence, business intelligence, machine learning and cloud technologies, according to a statement issued by both companies.
This also enables Celcom to have access to real-time data and customer insights, allowing improved simulated business scenarios for revenue, cost and operational optimisations.
Celcom chief operations officer (technology) Afizulazha Abdullah said Celcom continues its modernisation journey by transforming its business operations by incorporating new technology that includes enhancing Celcom’s data analytics abilities, reducing time to market and ensuring seamless customer experiences across all Celcom touchpoints.
With the new core platforms transformation project, TCS will enable Celcom to further enhance its digital and platform positioning through advanced digital capabilities like artificial intelligence and machine learning-driven business simulations, an enterprise product catalogue, and partner ecosystem enablement. — Bernama
