PETALING JAYA: The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah has been discharged from the National Heart Institute's (IJN) Royal Ward.
Comptroller of the Royal Household for Istana Negara Datuk Pengelola Bijaya Diraja Datuk Indera Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin confirmed this when contacted by Bernama on Friday (Jan 28).
He said the Yang di-Pertuan Agong was allowed to be discharged at 11.30am on Friday morning after undergoing a health check-up and follow-up treatment from Saturday (Jan 22).
On Sunday (Jan 23), the Palace had said that the Yang di-Pertuan Agong was undergoing health checks and follow-up treatment at the IJN's Royal Ward.
The Palace had said that this was a follow-up to intervention treatment for the Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s knee joints and ankle which he underwent in September 2020.- Bernama
