PETALING JAYA: The Road Transport Department (JPJ) has extended the discount offer for traffic tickets to Dec 15.

       The announcement was made on Friday via Facebook, with JPJ recommending cashless payments.

       It added that the payment could be made at all its counters and divisions, as well as the Urban Transformation Centre (UTC).

       For two days after the discount period started, crowds swarmed KLCC to take advantage of a top discount of 80% offered by PDRM and JPJ for selected offences.

       However, counters were ordered closed from Friday afternoon due to overwhelming response and violation of Covid-19 SOPs.
