On July 20, at 10:00, the Valdai Discussion Club will host a discussion on the results of the summit between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump in Helsinki, featuring Anatoly Antonov, Russia’s ambassador to Washington.

       The two leaders’ summit meeting has already been named the main international event of this summer.

       Only a month ago, the US-Russian relations were at a point of stagnation. However, the visits of National Security Advisor John Bolton and Republican Congressmen to Russia became a breath of fresh air for the bilateral relations and paved the way for the Helsinki meeting.

       The outcomes of the summit and what has changed in the two countries’ relations – these topics will be discussed with a direct participant of the historic meeting.
