ACTRESS Nadia Brian (pic) hopes that divorcees will not be discriminated against because outsiders do not know the whole truth about their failed marriages, Berita Harian reported.
Nadia, whose real name is Nadia Najwa Mohamed Rashidi, 30, said that no married persons would want their marriage to end in divorce.
The Malay-Australian actress mentioned that while she is not closed to the idea of remarrying, the matter is not her priority now.
“I’m still embarrassed to hold the status of a divorcee. But no matter, I’m in a calm phase now, and I’m still single,” she added.

According to a Twitter user known as @pikasekri, the fried chicken bought from a Ramadan market was also said to contain the chicken stomach with its contents intact, along with other organs.
“My father bought the whole fried chicken for RM5 near the Ramadan bazaar.
“We were shocked when we wanted to break our fast and found the organs were not cleaned while the gizzard was not washed.
“If you can’t do it properly, please don’t inflict this upon customers,” she said in her tweet while fellow netizens expressed their sympathy.

Although Hamzah Hassan, a disabled person, faces a tough period in his business, the 64-year-old still wishes to carry on.
Hamzah said his experience of working in a shoe factory in the southern part of the country helped him to acquire the necessary skills.
“My right leg was broken in an accident in 1974 in Port Dickson.
“I was grateful to have the opportunity to open a shoe shop at the Old Pulau Sebang (in Melaka) bus stop in 1982. Then I moved to the new bus stop,” he said.
Hamzah added that although the number of customers was not constant, he was thankful sustenance was always there, even during the pandemic, and hopes the economic situation would continue to recover.
