IPOH: The Perak Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCCI) has donated medical supplies worth more than RM50,000 to the low-risk Covid-19 quarantine and treatment centre (PKRC) here.

Perak health committee chairman Mohd Akmal Kamaruddin said the donation was timely as it would help meet the needs of the centre located at the badminton arena in its fight against Covid-19.

"We welcome any non-governmental organisations that want to help," he said.

Mohd Akmal said among the equipment donated included an oxygen cylinder, an Angelbiss Oxygen Concentrator, an infusion pump and a crank hospital bed.

In the meantime, Mohd Akmal also reminded PKRC residents to continue to work and be patient in dealing with Covid-19.

"Let's fight this pandemic together because such effort requires cooperation from all parties," he added.
