PETALING JAYA: A total of 40,925,929 Covid-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the country as of Tuesday, says the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV).
According to figures released by JKJAV on Twitter, 22,223,652 people (or 93.2% of the adult population) have received at least one dose of the vaccine, while 18,786,636 individuals (or 80.2% of the adult population) have completed their inoculations.
JKJAV also reported that 261,255 Covid-19 vaccine doses were administered in the country on Tuesday.
Of this total, 123,414 people received the first dose of a two-dose vaccine while 137,841 completed their inoculations by getting either the second dose of a two-dose vaccine or a single dose jab.
Sabah saw the most people receiving their first dose with 23,888 jabs given, followed by Johor (17,294), Pahang (15,897) and Perak (14,580).
Johor led the way for completed inoculations with 36,076 doses administered, followed by Sabah (15,805), Kedah (14,578) and Kuala Lumpur (11,650).
