The cute friendship between the pup and his hatchlings has become the subject of a viral clip on the app TikTok. Viewers adored the hilarious video, which was shared by TikTok user @marycappellettijf, and it was a massive hit on the video sharing platform, with almost four million views and over 752,000 likes.

       The clip begins with some footage of the dog sitting upstairs before he remembers, as he apparently does every half an hour, that the baby chicks are downstairs.

       As soon as he remembers, viewers are taken downstairs to the chicks’ enclosure, with the camera panning across the 10 tiny hatchlings.

       The final shot of the clip shows the pup keeping both eyes firmly locked on his chicks, making sure they are all okay as he leans over their enclosure.

       Viewers loved the video, with one user commenting: “There may be no thoughts behind those eyes… but I do see undying love.”

       Another wrote: “Brain not empty, brain full of love.”

       A third added: “He’s the poultry protector.”
