A 20-year-old woman will be charged with drunken driving in connection with a Franconia-area crash that killed one person and injured two others early Thursday morning, Fairfax County police said.

       Sarah Flores, 20, of Lorton was the driver of a Toyota Solara that left the roadway and struck a telephone pole while traveling east on Manchester Boulevard, near Silver Lakes Boulevard, around 12:30 a.m., police said.

       Danight Girmay, 20, of Lorton, who was sitting in the passenger seat, was killed in the crash, and two passengers in the back seat of the vehicle were injured, police said. The driver and the two injured passengers were taken to a hospital for treatment with issues not considered life-threatening.

       Police said Flores will be served with the drunken driving warrant when she is released from the hospital. Additional charges are pending.
