A British man sparked chaos on board a Ryanair flight after downing several drinks before unleashing a drunken rampage.

According to The Sun, he sat on another passenger before slapping him, sparking mayhem on board the flight.

Ryanair recently issued a warning to passengers after it was "forced to cancel" a number of flights this weekend due to strikes.

It said: “While over 60 percent of Ryanair flights to/from Belgium will operate as scheduled on Sat 29/Sun 30 July, we have regrettably been forced to cancel a small number of flights to/from Charleroi due to a strike by a small number of Belgium-based pilots.

“All affected customers have been advised of their options to bring forward their flights to Thursday or Friday or delay till Monday or Tuesday or receive a full refund if they wish to cancel their flight booking.”

The pilots are striking over pay and rest days and will affect passengers travelling to and from Charleroi.

According to the union, pilots agreed to take a 20 percent pay cut at the start of the pandemic and that has stayed in place.

Ryanair flights to and from Brussels are operated by international pilots so will not be affected by this action.
