KUALA LUMPUR: Hong Seng Consolidated Bhd's sub-unit eMedAsia Sdn Bhd has entered into a collaboration agreement with MXM International Sdn Bhd to define their roles and responsibilities with regards to the eTravelSavers programme.

       "Pursuant to the Agreement, the Parties agree to collaborate for their mutual benefit to explore areas for cooperation in the promotion of eTravelSavers among eMedAsia’s existing and potential platform users throughout Malaysia," said Hong Seng in a bourse filing.

       Healthcare provider MXM intends to launch eTravelSavers, which is a programme to provide inbound and outbound travel insurance guaranteed to satisfy the Immigration requirements.

       eMedAsia, a 60%-owned subsidiary of HS Bio Sdn Bhd which in turn is wholly owned by Hong Seng, currently operates a digital healthcare platform.
