None materialised yesterday, but a woman, 51, was arrested in Warrington, Cheshire.
Cops also revealed a man, 36, was taken into custody in Streatham, South London, on Wednesday.
Both were quizzed over conspiracy to cause public nuisance.
The move came after almost two weeks of on-off chaos on Britain’s busiest motorway and widespread criticism of police idly standing by instead of taking action.
Families welcomed the new tough stance by cops, with commuters saying it was “about time police cut the head off the snake”.
The fresh arrests come after two men, aged 49 and 55, and a 45-year-old woman were nicked for conspiracy to cause public nuisance last week.
A spokesman said: “Met Police officers have made two further arrests in relation to the ongoing investigation into the actions taken to block the M25 by protest group Insulate Britain.”
