Extinction Rebellion, or XR, said the free one-to-one sessions were available to its “rebels” whose tactics in protests across the UK have previously caused enormous disruption.
Nine members were recently cleared of causing criminal damage worth £500,000 to HSBC’s headquarters in Canary Wharf, East London, in 2021.
Prosecutors had claimed the group were not entitled to -vandalise property that did not belong to them but they claimed the were lawfully justified in their actions
In a message to members, XR said climate change and taking part in protests could “lead to some of us needing help”.

It said sessions would be with the Trained Emotional Support Network (TESN) and Climate Psychology Alliance (CPA).
On its website, the CPA says it offers guidance for over 18s who are “experiencing eco-related distress, including that arising from eco-activism or work in the climate field”.
It adds that therapy can help those facing feelings of “shock, disorientation, fear or powerlessness, a sense of panic and disbelief” at the “reality of the climate emergency”.
The CPA said sessions could boost protesters “feeling overwhelmed, despairing or burned out” — along with “anyone working within the climate field who is struggling to manage their emotions arising from being exposed to unmanageable facts”.
